HOW MUCH FUN WAS THIS WEEKEND?!?!

Thank you everyone involved with Anime Boston 2003! It was a huge success judging from the fact that they were expecting 700 people and ended up turning people away once they hit 4000!!! SOO Incredible! I had such a wonderful time. Thanks to all the wonderful fans who were so welcoming and fun to hang out with. Thanks to all the folks who took pictures and have already started emailing them to me! Thanks Kirby Morrow, Brad Swaille, Mark Hildreth, Scott McNeil, Ted Cole, Kristen Nelson, Tiffany Grant, my fellow voice actors for being so much damned fun on the panels and hangin out outside of the pandemonium that took place in the Park Plaza this weekend! Here's an article on one of my panels from Kevin Lillard

I can't tell you how cool it feels to take a step out of the crazy world of NYC and take a dream vacation where everyone around you appreciates your work. I wish all my actor friends could have the same experience. Thanks again so much! And thank you to the young man who privately signed my guestbook thanking me for being an out gay anime voice actor. It truly meant the world to me!

Keep an eye out for the Patlabor OVA as well as new episodes of The Legend Of The Dragonkings, both being released by Central Park Media! PS-Thanks Tom Wayland for including me in ANIME IDOL! I had a great time judging! Congrats to all who participated!

Happy Easter/Passover/Whichever you may be celebrating this time of year!

Okay,
Avenue Q just extended at the Vineyard until May 5th. GO SEE IT!!! I saw it for the first time tonight. It is quite clearly one of the most intelligent pieces of theatre I have ever seen. Not to mention, it was one of the first pieces I have seen in NYC that spoke SO directly to me as an individual and a member of my generation. So thank you All you Avenue Q writers and directors and actors! Brilliant work!

I also did some more random voices for a new anime called "The Legend of the Dragon Kings." So keep an eye out for that as well!

JACK at the York Theatre went VERY well last night! It was a lot of fun to see and work with everyone again...I must admit though, despite the wonderful performances of the new mother and the new Valerie, I miss Stacia and Stephanie...Speaking of Stephanie, go see her in Broadway's 9!!!

That's it for now! Thanks for coming to see Jack last night Sammi and Sue and Robin! I LOVE YOU!

Hey there,
I had an incredible day seeing a lot of friends on the street, visiting the Belt Theatre for possible us for a concert and reading series for new musicals. And then I got a call from my friend Brian Nash, who asked me to join him for the matinee of La Boheme on Broadway, which my friend Rob Hillman is in. I was moved to tears...the show was incredible. Go see it (not as if they're having issues selling tickets), but I highly recommend it. It is truly one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard and seen on Broadway.

And tonight I saw the Theatre for a New City production of Moliere's Don Juan at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. John Christopher Jones was incredible in it. The whole production was truly fantastic. Go see it if you get the opportunity.

I start re-rehearsng Jack tomorrow for the reading at the York Theatre on Monday. Come see it if you're free.

Talk to you soon!

Hey there,
Having a blast here in the city...I performed last night at Jim Caruso's Cast Party. I sang one of my friend Pat's songs called "Did You Ever Wonder?," a really beautiful song. People seemed to enjoy it. I also had the opportunity to see some incredible performers there last night. Sally Mayes, from the cast of Urban Cowboy, my dear friend, Daisy Eagan, the lovely and talented Natalie Douglas-who, incidentally will be performing this month at the Duplex. Check out her website for details! Don't miss her show...she's incredible. Also, my friend Scott Davis has a show this weekend at Don't Tell Mama's-I'll be seeing it Saturday night at 6:30, but check out Mama's website for the details on his show.

I recorded today for an anime series called PATLABOR for Central Park Media. I will be playing the role of Sakuma, in addition to a bunch of random TV announcers, Cops and even a flight attendant...listen closely, you may miss me. But I had a great time at the studio, one that I've never worked in before...so I hope to do more work there in the near future.

Always, Irving Berlin, newly re-titled Made in America:Irving Berlin (which I performed in and co-wrote last year at Stamford Theatre Works) is now available for regional productions. It's a great piece which is perfect for regional theatres, especially in the current state of our nation. Contact Gloria Bonelli and Associates at 845-744-8779 or public@gloriabonelli.com for a perusal copy of the script, in addition to a sample CD.

That's it for now, as far as I can tell. Hope all is well with everyone!
