Hey there

All is well here in NYC. Things are a little slow this month. I've been working a lot on some planning for the rest of the year. I will be in Boston April 18-20 for the first Boston Anime convention (www.animeboston.com). And then in May, I will be doing a concert back home in MA as a benefit for Kidspot/Teenspot, which is a program for young people wanting to be involved in the arts, run by one of my dearest friends, Meri-Lee Mafera.

Here in town, the workshop of 30 Something Something has been postponed - I'll let you know when I hear about it. And the reading of JACK! at the York Theatre will be held in the first week of April.

David Friedman's songbook is now available and you can purchase it through www.middermusic.com.

I saw a fantastic concert last night showcasing the works of new composers, Joel Fram, Georgia Stitt, Josh Rosenblum and Sam Davis. My friend, Rebecca Luker performed and her husband, Danny Burstein hosted the evening. I met the associate producer of the event, Jen Bender, at a New Year's Day pancake party and we hit it off, so I hope to be working with her in the near future on some other projects. The evening was a huge success, sold out to an audience most people would only dream of performing for, including Jason Robert Brown, David Friedman, Henry Krieger, Andrew Lippa, Sheldon Harnick and many more. Congrats to the writers and performers and thanks for an incredible show!

That's all the news that's fit to print right now...Hope you're all well!

Love, Jamie
