Hi,
We opened Jack this weekend. It was wonderful. We have one more weekend of performances nov 1, 2 & 3rd. Last night was not really my best show, as my mind was wandering a bit...
The night before last, I was mugged about two blocks from my house. They hit me several times and stole only my cell phone. Other than being emotionally pretty shaken up, things are fine...and the police are very close to catching the kids who did it. Seems they were bright enough to call their girlfriends and have long conversations with them on my phone. Never thought I'd be so glad about NYC's poor edicational system. Anyway....that's taken a lot of my attention these past two days.
Thanks to all the people who have shown up to see Jack, 30 Something Something and Pearl the past few weeks. It means a lot to me to know that I have friends that will show up to these things. I hope those of you who haven't made it can make it to see Jack this coming weekend! See you soon!

Hey there,
Sammi, My lovely and talented website designer and friend made it to see 30 Something Something this evening. It went very well. It's really a great little piece. The writers are all very talented.
I have worked with the lyricist Erich Goldstein on a few occassions now and was able to recommend him to composer, Pat and Book Writer, Yvonne Adrian when they found themselves without a lyricist. I had also come to know Pat through the BMI Musical Theatre Writer's Workshop. I had heard a lot of material and realized what a very talented young writer he was (as are so many wroters in the workshop). I then really became friends with Pat at an end-of-the-year party for BMI which was held at his incredible Chelsea apartment and the rest is history. I cannot tell you how glad I am to have some of the relationships I have developed in a very short amount of time.
It is a very large city but a surprisingly small world we all live in. It makes it feel a lot more cozy when you look around at some of the incredible people surrounding you. Thanks to Pat, Erich and Yvonne for including me in 30 Something Something! It's been a fantastic time and I'm really delighted to be a part of it. And thanks Sammi and Sue for coming to see it tonight. I hope to see a lot more of you there tomorrow! Come meet some of the members of the cast of JACK! there!

Hey there!
I had an incredible weekend at Anime NEXT and woul like to thank the organizers of the event for inviting me to be a part of the first Anime NEXT Convention! It seemd to be a huge success...You can visit Fansview.com to see how it all turned out! I also did an interview for Galaxy Anime which you will probably be able to check out in the coming week.
It was wonderful meeting so many great people at the convention and I look forward to staying in contact with some fellow voice actor friends (Hi Miryam, Richard, Kristen, Michelle, Karen and everyone else)! And thank you to all the fans who brought me such terrific gifts, especially Dave and Rachel for my Magic User's Club Wand...it has earned a place of honor in my home. Hope to see you all at Jack in the next few weeks!
I am back in the city and excited to dive head-first into rehearsals for JACK!, Pearl, and 30 Something Something. There will soon be a posting on the site regarding how to attend any of these performances. I have also purchased the new domain name www.JamieMcG.com which should be up and running as soon as we can get it together and get all the info back from the new server! Thanks so much and hope to hear from you all soon!

Hi Everyone!
Rehearsals for JACK! are going very well! It's such a wonderful group of people to be working with and I am excited to see the product that comes out of it.
I also began rehearsals for Pearl Hart, also a wonderful group of people. We will be performing that on October 20, 21, and 24th, stay tuned for more info.
I'll be attending ANIMENEXT this weekend in Secaucus, NJ. I must say I am already impressed by the organization of the convention, so I am really looking forward to it.
I am crazy busy for the next week or so, but feel free to email or check out the site, or recommend any changes to the site, feel free! Hope you're all great!

Hi!
I've started rehearsals for JACK! and I am having a wonderful time! The cast and staff are great, and I think it's going to be a great production. The cast list is as follows:
Stephanie Bast, Stacia Fernandez, Marc Goldhaber (who i am glad to be working with again, after having directed him in Kiss Me, Kate and The Big Game), Julie Hogan, Michael McCoy, Susan Spain, Jeff Whiting and myself.
I am also very busy putting together a cabaret for December to be performed at The Duplex in the West Village. It's going to be a revue of all new music from (mostly) new composers. Steven Nachamie will be directing and the rest of the cast will include Sue Gilad, Rebecca Soler and Christopher Graves.
I think that's it for now. Hope you are all well!
