Hey there.
It's been a little while. I've been pretty busy here in the city...first of all with a lovely case of food poisoning...fun. And with that food poisoning, I was able to attend a second callback for the first national tour of The Producers. It went alright, it is all up to the Gods now. A few other things on the horizon as well...I finished the series, Magic Users Club last week...which makes me a bit sad. I really enjoyed playing Takeo. Now my work is focused on Omi in Knight Hunters and hopefully some fun role in the new series, Berserk. That also remains to be seen. Please check out the drawing on my front page here by my new friend Sumy. It is a picture of Omi and Takeo together (in one another's costumes). She's a very talented artist who I met through the lovely and equally talented Sammi who is responsible for everything you see on this website!Tonight I watched The Laramie Project on HBO, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE If you have HBO, watch this film. If you do not, get someone to tape it for you. It is difficult for me (and probably most of the world) to see this as a theatre piece. Mostly due to the fact that the majority of us grew up in places similar to Wyoming or at the very least, with attitudes similar to those portrayed here. This is the story of Matthew Shepard, as told through interviews of those from the town of Laramie, who knew or knew of Matt Shepard. This is a very important story that needs to be told. So please, listen to it, and tell others about it.
Hope all is well out there!
Love, Jamie
